Kurnal Insights ("the Site") respects visitor privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.
1. Information We Collect
The Site is a static publication and does not actively collect identifying information such as accounts, names, or phone numbers. The following limited data may be processed:
- Access logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) retains basic request metadata (IP, User-Agent) for security and performance monitoring; this data is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Theme and language preferences: stored in your browser's localStorage, never transmitted to any server.
- Business inquiries: when you contact us by email, the message body and your address are stored at our ISO 27001-certified mail provider.
2. Cookies & Local Storage
The Site does not use tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage only to remember your theme (light/dark) and language preference (Chinese/English) so they persist across visits.
3. Third Parties
- Google Fonts: serves typography. Your IP is used by Google for content delivery; see Google's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare Pages: static hosting. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
4. Your Rights
You may clear localStorage at any time through your browser settings, opt out of Google Fonts, etc. If you wish us to delete an email you previously sent, contact contact@kurnal-insights.com.
5. Policy Changes
When this policy changes, we update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes are announced briefly on the homepage.
